Haiti - Economy : Budget 2012-2013, Key Budget Items

The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has released a document of 201 pages entitled "Finance Act for 2012-2013", this year, the budget was increased by 8.7% from 121 000 978 210 Gdes for the exercise 2011-2012 to 131 543 490 810 Gdes for this new exercise 2012-2013, or a variation of 10 542 512 599 Gdes.

It is expected 52 002 000 001 Gdes of current revenue distributed as follows : Internal revenue 34 032 357 461 Gdes, Customs revenue 17 336 642 540 Gdes and Other Domestic Resource 633 000 000 Gdes.

The Current expenses amount to 41 130 194 308 Gdes, the investment expenses 88 143 058 058 Gdes, the extraordinary expenses 250 000 000 Gdes including 200 000 000 Gdes for the electiuons and 50 000 000 for the Support to political parties.

The Haitian government expects to receive 45 582 163 692 Gdes in donations a decrease of -1.7% compared to the exercise 2011-2012, and 41 403 163 692 Gdes in Financing of Programmes and projects an increase of 1.3% compared to the exercise 2011-2012.

The EXECUTIVE has a total budget of 126 283 102 844 Gdes or 96% which is distributed as follows :
