Haiti - Economy : A Dominican company will create thousands of jobs in Haiti 28/10/2012 10:20:13 José Clase, the President of "D'Clase Corporation" who participated in the opening ceremony of the Caracol Park, found positive the support of the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB), and the U.S. Department of State for improve the living conditions in Haiti. According to the Dominican entrepreneur, this park is the "most important effort to help reconstruct Haiti." Mr. Clase declared that the installation of the new plant will include a co-production with its existing operations located in the Industrial Park Zone Esperanza (Santiago), stating that "D'Clase Corporation" objective was to create 5,000 jobs over the next four years. Operations in Haiti is expected to begin in early 2013.
