Haiti - Sports : The Dominican Republic puts its sports facilities at the disposal of Haiti
Earlier this week, the Ambassador of Haiti in the Dominican Republic, Fritz Cinéas, met Jaime David Fernández Mirabal, the Dominican Minister of Sports.

The Ambassador welcomed the initiative of the Minister, which has put the sports facilities of the Dominican Republic at the disposal of athletes and leaders of Haiti, as part of permanent exchange program, which aims to fight against the deficit of Haiti in terms of sports facilities and technical staff in this area.

"We thank you for your initiative and solidarity with our people [...] As part of the brotherhood and solidarity, which happily exist between our two countries, we hope that our athletes can enjoy the sports facilities and the Dominican experience in the sport [...] this initiative, overjoyed young athletes of Haiti, who will benefit from this generous offer [...]," while emphasizing the progress made by our young Haitian athletes, the Ambassador Cinéas regretted that Haiti does not have the quantity and quality of sports facilities that exist in the Dominican Republic.
