Haiti - Economy : Haiti will sit on ECOSOC for Latin America, for 3 years 13/11/2012 12:16:28 The General Assembly elected to ECOSOC the following 18 Member States : South Africa, Albania, Benin, Bolivia, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, United States, Haiti, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritius, Nepal, Netherlands, San Marino, Sudan, Tunisia and Turkmenistan. For the three seats of Group of States of Latin American and Caribbean, Bolivia, Colombia and Haiti have been elected with 186 votes each. As of 1 January 2013, ECOSOC will be composed of the following countries : South Africa, Albania, Austria, Belarus, Benin, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Denmark, El Salvador, Ecuador, United States, Ethiopia, Russia, France, Gabon, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lesotho, Libya, Malawi, Mauritius, Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, New Zealand, Netherlands, Pakistan, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Dominican Republic, United Kingdom, San Marino, Senegal, Sudan, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey and Turkmenistan.
