In a statement at a meeting to exchange views with the EP Committee on Foreign Affairs, jointly with the Committee on Development and in association with the Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly, in Europe, the President Martelly declared "It is the first time in Haiti we dismantles a network of bandits of this magnitude, and I tell you squarely, this network is stronger than the State itself, to the point that I had, before I came here in Europe, make a formal request to the United States of America and France, to find assistance. Because this network, if it decides to overthrow the government, it can do in a minute..."

Meanwhile in Haiti, the investigation on the network Clifford Brandt continues...
