Haiti - Diplomacy : End of Mission for the Ambassador of France, Didier Le Bret
Monday evening at the Embassy of France in Port-au-Prince, the President Martelly, attended a cocktail party to salute the departure of the Ambassador Didier Le Bret, whose mission expires in Haiti. The ceremony was attended by officials of the Government, of Me Arnel Alexis Joseph, President of the Court of Cassation, Dieuseul Desras Simon, President of the Senate and other Haitian parliamentarians and personalities of the Civil Society.

On behalf of the Haitian people, the Head of State wished a good departure to the French Ambassador, noting that Mr.Le Bret had marked his passage in the country , in providing his support to the strengthening of the rule of law and judicial reform. The President Martelly took the opportunity to congratulate the French diplomat for the different actions, he has conducted during the past four years in the country for the benefit of Haitians.

For his part, the Ambassador Didier Le Bret said feeling a deep sadness, to the idea of leaving the country, paying tribute to the Haitian, who warmly welcomed him, Mr. Le Bret praised the efforts of the President Martelly, to safeguard democracy and the respect of human rights of the citizen.
