Haiti - Social : Wishes of President Michel Martelly 25/12/2012 08:40:00
Despite a daily, that I wanted under my administration, less harsh, Christmas 2012 is here and the Christmas spirit too. Nevertheless, despite the morose time, Christmas remains at home a tradition alive, present in the heart of each of us, vector of sharing, love, listening, forgiveness... Time of reflections, Christmas invites us to these called into question, in all humility. Times of greeting and wishes, Christmas also raises hope... It is precisely in this spirit that this year I wanted, see each of our communal houses, embellished and decorated. This symbolism must mean first of all the importance for me, that are the territorial collectivities, basis of good administration at the service of the entire population. To their population in particular, I would like to express my wishes and do them justly promises of a better tomorrow. I am committed and I intend to dedicate. Also, all of you, fellow citizens, all of you, friends of Haiti, all of you who have chosen to set your destiny here and to which my administration accountable nd promises to keep, I wish a very Merry Christmas. Especially to the most vulnerable, to all those that life abused, those who are sick, who are on the hospital bed, those who suffer, those who have lost hope, hurricane victims, victims of cholera , insecurity, of the high cost of living and other... to all those who do not eat as they would like, allow me to tell you all the respect I have for you, you are in my heart, yes you are in the heart of the President. To all those who continue to have confidence in my administration, to all those who relied on me, that until today trust me so that their life changes, I wish them Merry Christmas. To all those who do not agree with me, it is their right, critics with all their heart, it helps me, I want to say thank you and I tell them Merry Christmas. Haitian people, The feast of Christmas is for all of you, you all can participate daily in a little morein the change but you know me, the change as I would like, will require a lot of other sacrifices, it will ask more order, but it will also require more good examples of better behavior, less kraze brize, less violence, less chiré-pite, less arrogance, more services, less chef, less waste, more servants. Do not think I do not follow, my eyes are open, I'm there, I hear the sound of the street, I hear the compliments, I hear the critics... Today, elections are the biggest priority we have, I am very happy to announce that the Executive has signed an agreement with the Parliament to establish a council to organize the elections, this thing is a good Christmas gift that offer two powers to the country. I want to thank Religion for Peace that accompany us in this process. Give us good results, of results for the country to advance, so that each of us is capable next year with the grace of Gran Met, to have more, so that they see a little light on for them, a little light on for them in the tree.
