Diaspora remembers and organizes numerous commemorative events in memory of the Disappeared of earthquake that has hit our beloved country Haiti, January 12, 2010 at 4h53 pm precisely.

MEXICO :
The Embassy of the Republic of Haiti to the United States of Mexico informs the Haitian community that Friday, January 11, 2013 at noon, the offices of the Embassy and Consular Services will be closed due to the mass in memory of victims of the January 12, 2010, which will be sung in the Paroisse Française Cristo Resucitado y Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, 1758 Avenida Horacio, Colonia Polanco, Miguel Hidalgo Delegación.

FLORIDA
Miami :
The Consulate General of Haiti in Miami has the advantage of inviting the Haitian Community in Florida in general and members of the press in particular to take part in events commemorating the January 12, 2010 earthquake. Saturday, January 12, 2013 :

Friday, January 11, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at MOCA Museum, 770 N.E. 125th Street, North Miami, Fl. Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jean Monestime, District 2, will commemorate the third anniversary of the 2010 Haiti earthquake by hosting a community forum on how Haiti has rebounded from the catastrophic event and the ongoing efforts to rebuild critical infrastructure in the country. The forum will feature the Consul General of Haiti Francois Guillaume along with Jocelin David, a prominent engineer. "This third anniversary is an appropriate time to reflect on how far Haiti has progressed since the earthquake and assess the current challenges that remain," declared Jean Monestime.

Friday January 11, 2013: 6:00 Requiem Mass in Memory of the victims of the January 12, 2010 earthquake, celebrated by the Reverend Father Gaétan Boursiquot at the St. James Cathedral located on 215 North Orange Ave (Downtown Orlando). Special appearance by Commisionner Samuel B.INGS of District 6 in Orlando.

Saturday January 12, 2013: Under the leadership of the Coalition of Haitian Pastors from Central Florida, a special service will be held to commemorate the 3rd anniversary or the January 12, 2010 earthquake.
