Haiti - Politic : Princely Visit to Haiti
Prince Albert II of Monaco performs a 24 hour visit to Haiti this Friday, February 15, 2013. He will meet with President Michel Martelly, to discuss the fight against AIDS, before inaugurating the kindergarten and elementary school "Prince Albert II de Monaco".

Funded by "Monaco Collectif Haiti" a collective humanitarian of Monaco, who collected more than one million euros to build and finance the school until 2015, the school "Prince Albert II de Monaco" has opened its doors in October 2012 and hosts some 160 particularly disadvantaged children [at the bicentenary].

During the day, the Prince will also meet Dr. Jean-William Pape, who heads the Centers "Gheskio", precursors in terms of research and the fight against HIV / AIDS, and M. Alain Merieux. He will also have meetings with Michaëlle Jean, UNESCO Special Envoy, and Ms. Chantal Moreno, Representative of the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF).

Finally, the Prince Albert II of Monaco, visit the premises of the United Nations Mission for Stabilization in Haiti (Minustah).
