These 1,100 youth have been selected from 26.147 young candidates who had submitted their applications after undergoing a series of written and oral tests, exercise and medical examinations.

Under a blazing sun, their yellow envelope containing their registration documents, these young people have benefited from the first day to get acquainted with their new friends in the courtyard of the Police Academy. If joy and excitement could be seen on the faces of most of them, others from the four corners of Haiti, admitted being anxious about leaving their families for a long period.
