Haiti - Politic : 2 women and one man will represent the Executive at CTCEP
Wednesday in the Council of Ministers, the Executive has chosen its 3 representatives to serve on the College Transitional of Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP) responsible for organizing the next elections.

Thursday evening on the air of a private radio station of the capital, the President announced the names of these 3 representatives, two women and one man. They are Mrs. Margareth Lamur Saint-Louis, ing. (former director of ONA 1991-1994), Chantal Raymond (daughter of the late General Claude Raymond) and Emmanuel Ménard (current Director General of RTNH).

Joseph Lambert, Special Adviser to the President, confirmed these 3 names "the three persons are Margareth Lamur Saint-Louis, then Chantal Raymond and finally Emmanuel Menard [...] when the Council of Ministers has finished to validate these three persons, the Council, after deliberation has finally approved the 9 persons who constitute the CTCEP. The decree was signed by the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and all the Ministers, and this order was sent to the National Press, for publication in Le Moniteur by next week, so that all arrangements are made for the 9 members can oath and can be installed. That's basically how the situation is at the moment.

Le Moniteur is released onday and Thursday, if Le Moniteur out on Monday, the provisions will be taken to ensure that Tuesday or Wednesday the oath to do and that members of CTCEP be installed..."




Representatives of the Executive (2 women 1 man) :
Mrs. Margareth Lamur Saint-Louis, Chantal Raymond and Emmanuel Ménard

Legislative Representatives (2 men 1 woman) :
Marie Clunie Dumay Miracle, Pierre Simon Georges and Néhémie Joseph

Representatives of the judiciary (2 men 1 women) :
Léopold Belanger, Marie Carole Duclervil Floréal, Applys Félix

The CTCEP should be composed of 4 women (44%) and 5 men.

Concerning the members already installed in the Permanent Electoral Council (CEP), 3 representatives of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ), still do not seem to have given, to date, their letter of resignation.

Also, a rumor circulates in the circles advised, that the Executive could replace its 3 representatives installed at CEP, by 2 women and 1 man...
