Haiti - Politic : Fruitful meeting on the sidelines of the 5th Summit of the ACS 27/04/2013 10:29:43
The discussions of the Head of State with Chilean President have focused among other things, on the construction of school infrastructure, roads and housing, the exploration and mining activity, building of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and the training of Haitian students. With Victorin Lurel, the President Martelly has obtained financial support from France for translation services within the framework of the integration of French within Caricom. The Head of State also discussed education programs, including the construction in the provincial towns of other French lycées of international standard, supported by France to EFACAP [Fundamental School of Application Pedagogical Support Center] as well in matters of justice, the process of revision of codes. They also analyzed the possibilities of channeling French investment towards the construction of low-cost housing in favor of the Haitian population and a cableway.
