Haiti - Education : Calendar for the professional exams and Bac

The Office of the Secretary of State for Vocational Training [Marina Gourgues] and the National Institute of Vocational Training (INFP), inform that the official examinations of end of cycle, will be held by level and sector, in the 72 vocational training centers across the country from July 2 to August 9, 2013.
Calendar of professional exams :
From 2 to 5 July 2013 (Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas): Vocational Training Centres for obtaining Certificates and Brevets of professional skills (CAP et BAP)
From July 15 to 19 (in the cities of Province): Vocational Training Centres for obtaining Certificates and Brevets of professional skills.
From July 29 to August 9 (In Western Province and the provincial cities) : Vocational Training Centres for obtaining technical degrees in industrial and commercial sectors.
Baccalaureate examinations :
In addition, more than 245,000 candidates are preparing to take part in the baccalaureate exams. The exams will be held across the country, from 1 to 4 July (Bac I - new and those who failed) and from 8 to 12 July.
The Ministry of Education recalls that measures against fraudsters and troublemakers were put in place and will be strictly applied during the period of state examinations :
- Any candidate caught in the act of fraud or misconduct will see its copy revoked and will be expelled from the local after a record has been drawn. The offending candidate will not be able to participate in examinations for a period of up to four years, depending on the severity of the fault ;
- No candidate may enter the examination center with a weapon, regardless of its nature ;
- Candidates are subject to return for any outfit judged improper ;
- The use of programmable calculators and any other communication device is prohibited ;
- The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the examination centers, except for those responsible for the examination centers as needed ;
- Any candidate caught in the act of fraud with a cell phone, will be eliminated and will not be able to participate in the bac exams for two years. The cell phone will be seized by the agents attendants for this purpose in the examination centers and transmitted to the Justice of the Peace of the jurisdiction concerned for appropriate action ;
- Anyone caught committing fraud on the edge and / or in the examination centers will be put under arrest and surrender to the judicial authorities for legal action ;
- It is forbidden security staff of examination centers of entering in the examination rooms ;
- Nobody can have access to an examination center without special permission from the central government (Minister, Directorate General, BUNEXE, Directorate of Secondary Education, Department of Basic Education Department Directorate).
