Practices that according to him "could attract curses on the country." In addition, Pastor Gérald Forges, strongly opposes against any intention of Parliament to legalize gay marriage in Haiti. Charlot Jeudy, while declaring recognize the rights of religious leaders to gather in association and express freely, asks them to respect the rights of homosexuals to join to defend their own interests "The Haitian Constitution recognizes that all citizens are equal in rights and titles and that the State has an obligation to ensure the protection of all without distinction of any kind," saying that being gay in Haiti has nothing illegal "There is nothing that condemns or punishes homosexuality in the Haitian Constitution."
