Haiti - Tourism : Crew of the Oasis of the Seas discover the northern destination
Monday, Ms. Dieudonne Luma Étienne, Regional Director North of the Tourism Ministry, welcomed the Captain of the cruiseship "Oasis of the Seas", Patrik Dahlgren and 13 other crew members who, on their own initiative, decided to come "live the experience" of the North Destination as tourists and visit the Citadelle Laferrière Milot [the largest Citadel of the Caribbean] and the Sans Souci Palace, before returning to the seaside resort of Labadee Beach, led by the "Royal Cabean Cruise Line" (RCCL).

During the welcoming remarks, Ms. Étienne expressed to these new tourists, her strong satisfaction for this visit, the latter according to her, promises to be fruitful for the North Destination, within the framework of partnership between the Ministry and the RCCL Ms. Dieudonne Luma Étienne, took the opportunity to give each member of the group, an insignia of distinction "On behalf of the Ministry of Tourism, received this Insignia and be Ambassadors of the North Destination."



After his visit, Captain Dahlgren declared that of all the sites he had visited in the Caribbean "there is no one like the Citadelle Laferrière of Milot," satisfaction openly shared by several members of the crew.

Kenrick Démesvar, Representative of the Ministry of Tourism in the management of National Historical Park, is convinced that the benefits of the success of this visit, will allow soon to improve and change the lives of the entire community of Milot, by receiving many cruise tourists.
