579 people [183 Monday and 396 Sunday] whose 3 young children, visited emergency stations established on the carnival parade route, to receive care that their condition required for discomfort, accidents or various minor injuries "What is alarming, are the many young people, mostly girls, found drunk," stressed medical sources.

Commissioner Frantz Lerebours, spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) noted that 60% of those treated had experienced discomfort due to high heat.

For its part, the Hospital of the State University of Haiti (HUEH), admitted for the day of Tuesday, 60 wounded, victims of stone throwing, bottle, injury with a knife or fights.

Apart the unfortunate accident on Sunday, in which a participant who stood on the musical float "Ambyans" made a fatal fall after falling asleep, the safety record for the first two days is satisfactory, considering the large number of revelers on the streets.
