Friday at a press conference, René Jean-Jumeau, Minister for Energy Security, that did not mention the word "shortage", informed that a shipment of 100,000 barrels of diesel and 80,000 barrels of Gazolines should arrive in Port-au-Prince, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at midday and that the resupply of service stations will begin at the discharging fuel.

In addition, the Minister Delegate recalled that the Haitian government was in discussions with Venezuela in order to increase the volume of fuel from 14,000 barrels to 20,000 barrels a day to meet the needs of Haiti.
