Young people from localities of Vallue, Coulon, Floquette outdid themselves in providing good cultural and artistic performances (dance, music, theater), who highlighted the lifestyles of farmers and local traditions. The crowd has not failed to taste the delicious food prepared for the occasion with agricultural products of the town... The Agronomist Brignol presented on this occasion, a conference debate on the importance of the environment and the need to protect the environment in which we live. Octave Hyacinthe, the Coordinator of the OPF, took the opportunity to take stock of achievements and actions that the organization of peasants of Floquette has undertaken in its 24 years of existence in the fields of agriculture, education, protection of the environment, road infrastructure, endogenous development, watershed protection and defense of children's rights. He also mentioned the difficulties encountered in the implementation of certain projects and reminded to OPF memebers that they still have much to do, for example the completion of the construction of the road leading to the Floquette. Concluding by reminding "The locality of Floquette has a community school, but the Directorate does not have funds to pay teachers because of the poverty of parents. We urge the government to come up and help us," before thanking partners and supporters and soliciting contributions from all, for achieving other projects.
