Haiti - Training : End of 3-months training cycle of the OMRH 22/09/2013 11:19:54 Initiated in early July, the training sessions were designed to strengthen the skills of public servants in areas such as: Legisprudence, Strategic Planning, developing Public Policy, Protocol, the Human Resources Management, Interpersonal Communication... Responsible for establishing the National Training Policy, the OMRH with the support of the Ecole Nationale d'Administration of France, was through a democratic process, decided in consultation with officials of different themes that have been developed for these 10 weeks. Starting from Directors General passing through the Human Resources departments until the other executives of the Public Service, the OMRH almost filled up, especially since many issues have been developed more than once. There is no doubt that the content presented have pleased the different groups, which did not hide their satisfaction with the mechanism set up by the team of the OMRH, who advocated a culture of exchange and fruitful discussions between recipients and different trainers. Due to the unavailability of Mr. Antoine Uder, General Coordinator of the OMRH, who attended the Regional Seminar of the Caribbean in Georgetown, Guyana, it is Mr. Harold Mompoint Jeune, Head of Training at OMRH, which was responsible for formally close the last training session. In his remarks for the occasion, Mr. Mompoint Jeune wanted to start by thanking the Ecole Nationale d'Administration of France and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) which financed the training cycle, and all the participants who contributed to the success of these courses. "We're not going to stop there [...] Training will be organized soon in other areas such as administrative support, reception in the ministries and autonomous bodies," he announced. Convinced of the necessity to continue to strengthen the capacity of our human resources, Mr. Mompoint Jeune pointed out that the continuous training is at the heart of the reform "I want the continuity of OMRH-ENA partnership and the sharing of knowledge that has been transmitted," he concluded.
