Haiti - Politic : «All together... for the revolution of the spirit» + Message of President Martelly
On the occasion of the commemoration of the 207th anniversary of the death of Emperor Jean-Jacques Dessalines, the Founding Father of the Haitian Nation, President Martelly declared this Thursday, October 17 "207 years after the assassination of the founder of the Haitian Nation, Emperor Jean-Jacques Dessalines, the Republic of Haiti, First negro and independent republic in the world, is at the crossroads between modernity and traditional practices of management of public affairs. The Administration I have the honor to lead for more than two years, gives itself as primary mission to restore confidence among the Haitians and substantially improve their living conditions.

In 2013, the paradigms have changed: it is now to furnish the spirit and build houses, contrary to the reality that existed in the early nineteenth century when our forebears had to arm themselves with the courage to remove of our land of the presence of expeditionary forces.

All together ... for the revolution of the spirit"

Message of President Martelly
