Haiti - NOTICE : Long power outage scheduled...

The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs its customers in particular and the public in general of Petit-Goâve, Street Républicaine partially, Street St Paul, Street Lamarre, Street of the Enterrement, Dessalines, Croix Jubilé, Avenue Lafond 1 and 2, Street Pétion, Circuit Route Nationale, Street Benoit, Béatrice, Ruelle Guirand, Sinistré, Bornesoldat, to name only a few that they will be deprived of electricity from Thursday, October 24, 2013 4:00 am [Wednesday night to Thursday] until Friday, October 25 at 6:00 pm.
This power outage in scheduled, in order to begin extensive work on the 2,400 KV transformer monobloc in order to improve the quality of electricity in these areas.
The EDH renews its commitment to work towards the upgrades of the grid and relies on understanding, patience and cooperation of the population to enable him o complete this work as soon as possible.
