Haiti - League of Nations 2022 : Our Grenadiers humiliate Guyana in the return match [6-0] (Video)
Tuesday, June 14, 2022 after winning the first leg against Guyana [6-2], our Grenadiers for their 4th match of the 2nd Edition of the 2022 Nations League of the Confederation of North America, Central America and of the Caribbean (CONCACAF), faced on the lawn of the Olympic stadium Felix Sanchez (Santo Domingo) again the "Golden Jaguars" of Guyana, for the return match.

A match won by our Grenadiers who humiliated the "Golden Jaguars" [6-0].

Bryan Alcéus having been suspended for cumulative yellow cards for the return match against Guyana, Haitian coach Jean Jacques Pierre announced that he had chosen Leverton Pierre to replace Bryan Alcéus (#21). Other changes: the return of Steeve Séance and Mondy Prunier to the starting XI.

In the first period, it was Christian Alex Junior who opened the scoring for Haiti [1-0], score unchanged at halftime. On returning from the locker room Jean Jacques Pierre replaces Placide Johny (#1) at 46' with Alexandre Pierre (#23). 2 minutes later at 48' Mondy Prunier sinks the score against Guyana [2-0]. The other goals are scored by Simonsen Jeppe at 63' [3-0], at 66' Simonsen Jeppe is replaced by Dany Jean (#11) Mondy Prunier at 76' [4-0], at 78' Saba Steeven is replaced by Carl Fred Sainté (#18), Mondy Prunier is replaced by Fredler Christophe (#17), Antoine Carnejy at 87' scores against Guyana [5-0] and scores a double at 89' [6-0 ]

League B standings :
1 - Haiti 10 points (15 goals scored 4 conceded in 4 games played)
2 - Guyana 6 points
3 - Monserrat 3 points
4 - Bermuda 1 point

Remember that at the end of these 6 matches, the team that will finish at the top of its Group will do a double blow by reaching the first division of the league (League A) and also by qualifying for the Gold Cup 2023.

The 2nd ranked team will keep its place in league B and will play the play-offs giving access to the Gold Cup.

The 3rd in the standings will keep their place in league B while the 4th will be relegated to League C for the 2023-2024 edition.
