Haiti - New Zealand-Australia 2023 World Qualification : Haiti loses in a friendly match agaisnt Costa Rica [2-1] (Video)
Our Grenadières in preparation camp in Costa Rica for a week for the final round of qualifying for the FIFA Women's World Cup, Australia / New Zealand 2023 to take place in Monterrey (Mexico) from July 4 to 18, 2022, faced during of a first friendly match with the "Ticas" of Costa Rica who are also preparing for the Concacaf women's championship.

In the first period, against a very good Central American team, our Grenadières were jostled by the dominating Les Ticas who opened the scoring by scoring a first goal thanks to a shot from Maria Paula Salas at 8' [1-0]. Maria Paula Coto sinks the score in favor of the Ticas at 45'+3 [2-0].

Despite 5 changes of players decided by the French coach in the second half, it will be necessary to wait until the 74th for Sherly Jeudy to reduce the gap [2-1], final score at the end of regulation time.
