Haiti - FLASH : Our Grenadiers crush Montserrat [0-4] and qualify for the Gold Cup 2023 (Video)
Saturday March 25, 2023, as part of the 2nd Edition of the 2022 League of Nations of the Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF), our Grenadiers on the lawn of the "Blakes Estate Stadium" (Plymounth) faced in the second leg the "Emerald Boys" of Montserrat

Our Grenadiers left no chance for the "Emerald Boys" whom they finally crushed [4-0]. With this victory, Haiti goes back to CONCACAF League A and qualifies (for the 3rd time in 2019 and 2021) for the 2023 Gold Cup (June 16 - July 16).

In the first period, our Grenadiers came up against a solid defense set up by the "Emerald Boys" without being able to score a goal.

Half time score [0-0]
Returning from the locker room Duckens Nazon at 49' opens the scoring for Haiti on a pass from Derrick Junior Étienne [0-1]. Frantzdy Pierrot with a header at 60' increases the score [0-2]. 10 minutes later Derrick Etienne at 70' added a goal against the "Emerald Boys" [0-3] and Mondy Prunier (who had replaced Bryan Alcéus) on a pass from Jeppe Simonsen at 84' scored the ultimate goal for this meeting [0-4] confirming the victory of Haiti and the debacle of Montserrat.
