In 4 matchs played, our grenadiers already have 3 victories: Cuba [3-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-40195-haiti-flash-our-grenadiers-crush-cuba-[3-1]-concacaf-ligue-a-u15-championship.html , Qatar [1-0]https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-40203-haiti-flash-victory-against-qatar-[1-0]-our-grenadiers-u-15-qualified-for-the-second-round.html and Canada [1-0] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-40227-haiti-flash-our-grenadiers-winners-against-canada-[1-0]-are-qualified-for-the-semi-final.html for a single defeat against the USA [0-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-40235-haiti-flash-our-grenadiers-bow-[1-0]-faceusa-who-narrowly-qualify-for-the-final.html and they began this match against Jamaica with the firm intention of winning this small final and returning to Haiti with the trophy crowning the winner of the classification match, a well-deserved satisfaction for our players as a prelude to the next qualifiers for the 20th FIFA U-17 Men's World Cup.

The determination of our Grenadiers did not leave much chance to the "Reggae Boyz" of Jamaica who conceded 3 goals including 2 in the second second period (each period lasts 35 minutes).

Francisco Daniel opened the scoring for Haiti with a superb shot from the left at 27' [1-0] score unchanged at the end of the first period.

Returning from the locker room, the "Reggae Boyz" equalized on a free kick thanks to a shot from G. Taylor at 40' [1-1] rekindling hope for Jamaica against the dominating Grenadiers. 4 minutes later, Angelo Lauré reduces the hopes of the Jamaicans and sinks the score in favor of Haiti [2-1]. Emerson Laissé at 71' scored the 3rd and last goal on the left of the Jamaican goalkeeper [3-1].

Final score and victory for Haiti [3-1]. The 4th victory of our Grenadiers out of 6 match who therefore won the small final and settled on the third step of the podium of the competition in the first division (Ligue A)

Today against Jamaica, our young Grenadiers prove that they have become more mature and have had a champion behavior while recalling the titles of the CFU Challenge Series U14 in 2021 and 2022. They represent hope, the future generation who will have to compete in the FIFA U-17 World Cup qualifiers.
