Haiti - U15 Championship : Our Grenadières lose [2-1] agaisnt Jamaica
Tuesday, August 6, 2024, as part of the 5th edition of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean States (CONCACAF) U-15 Women's Championship, our young Grenadières, after the bitter defeat [9-0] against Costa Rica https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-42924-haiti-u15-championship-costa-ricans-massacre-our-u-15-grenadieres-[9-0].html , faced Jamaica for their second group match (Group C) on the lawn of field #3 of the Alajuelense club training center in the city of Alajuela (Costa Rica).

To face Jamaica, coach Denis Méus announced the composition of his starting lineup :

Unfortunately, once again our Grenadières suffered defeat despite their efforts against Jamaica, they lost [2-1].

In the first half, Jamaica, very offensive, opened the scoring thanks to a goal from Jamara Jones at the 5th minute [1-0]. At the 24th minute, Ricquanna Richards pushed the score to Jamaica's advantage [2-0]. Far from being defeated, our young grenadières reduced the score thanks to a shot from Kerdina Lamour in the 35th minute.

Throughout the game, the two teams neutralized each other and the final score remained unchanged at the end of regulation time [2-1] in favor of Jamaica.

Haiti :

After two defeats, 11 goals conceded for 1 goal scored, our Grenadières in their next and final group match, will face the USA, leader of Group C and favorite of the competition, on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
