On Saturday, January 31, 2026, as part of the qualifying phase of the FIFA World Cup Morocco 2026, our U-17 Grenadières, for their third group match, on the pitch of the FFK Willemstad Stadium in Curaçao, faced the Cayman Islands women's team. Summary : With great discipline and impeccable organization, our young Grenadières quickly took control of the match, opening the scoring in the first few minutes. Keisha Gué opened the scoring for Haiti in the 7th minute with a right-footed shot from the right side of the penalty area into the bottom right corner [1-0]. Léa Jacques extends the lead in the 31st minute with a right-footed free kick into the bottom left corner.

At halftime, Haiti leads 2-0 against the Cayman Islands.

Controlling the tempo and imposing their technical superiority, the Grenadières dominate the Cayman Islands. Daphney Louis seals the match with a third goal in 90+1 stoppage time, a left-footed shot from the center of the penalty area into the bottom right corner, assisted by Rosalie St. Louis. Final score : 3-0 in favor of Haiti.

This victory, combined with a 0-0 draw between Guatemala and Saint Lucia, allows Frenoy Baptiste's team to consolidate their position at the top of Group C with 9 points, compared to 7 for the Central American team.
