On Thursday, February 5, 2026, in the qualifying round for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026, at the Cementos Prograso Stadium in Guatemala City, our Grenadiers, in Group C, faced the "Spice Boys" the Grenada national team, who were no match for the relentless efficiency of the Haitian machine, losing 5-1.

Starting XI : For the first match of the qualifying round for this age group's World Cup, the team's coach, Kowsky Sainvil, chose to field the same group of players who were present in Qatar for the last World Cup. These players are Clifford Gene, Miguel Joseph, R. Phaden Louissaint, Emerson Laisse, and Stanley Louis.

Summary: In the 10th minute, Emerson Laïsse converts a penalty with a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner, opening the scoring for Haiti [1-0].

In fine form, Marvenly Exilas doubles the score in the 24th minute [2-0] with a close-range right-footed shot into the center of the goal, assisted by Emerson Laïsse. The "Spice Boys" manage to pull one back [2-1] in the 25th minute with a right-footed shot from over 35 meters into the center of the goal by Cogan Dowden. Marvenly Exilas scored twice [3-1], first with a right-footed shot from close range into the center of the goal, assisted by Jhon-Widy Belton.

The score remained unchanged at halftime.

After the break, our Grenadiers weren't finished. Playing with great attacking intent, they put the "Spice Boys" defense under constant pressure, forcing them to withstand repeated attacks.

Marvenly Exilas, the true star of the match, completed his hat trick in the 65th minute [4-1], scoring with his left foot from the center of the penalty area into the center of the goal, assisted by Emerson Laïssé. In this match, which looked like a walk in the park for our Grenadiers, Macenat Prophète scored in the 91st minute with a header from the center of the box, finding the back of the net from a cross by Sonson Jean-Baptiste, sealing the victory with a final score of 5-1.
