Haiti - Justice : The Ministry reminds demonstration organizers their obligations 22/05/2014 11:17:15
The Ministry, so that no one pretext ignorance and for the benefit of everyone, herewith publishes an extract of the relevant articles : "Article 2 : Anyone wishing to organize a peacefully a meeting or demonstration on public roads must notify forty-eight hours before the meeting, the police in his community. To this end, it will decline to the police officer in charge of receiving the notice, his name, age, occupation, residence or domicile, the precise place of the meeting or demonstration, its purpose, itinerary, date and duration. Article 4 : The one, that will have given notice to the police or the organizer of this gathering of people is required, on his own responsibility, to ensure the proper behavior of the demonstrators and participants."
