Haiti - Justice : The agitators of the opposition crossed the red line

Jean Renel Sanon, the Minister of Justice and Public Security (MSPJ), which had officially condemned the violence and vandalism of the opposition demonstration on April 28 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-11045-haiti-justice-the-minister-of-justice-condemns-the-violence-of-the-opposition-demonstration.html , in a new statement, raises his voice and protests "[...] For some time, movements triggered by politicians claiming to be from the 'democratic' opposition, tending to be increasingly violent. The MSPJ particularly condemns the recent acts of sabotage and vandalism orchestrated by these individuals on Wednesday May 14 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-11157-haiti-news-some-news-here-and-there.html while the country celebrated the 3rd year of the accession to power of the first representative of the Nation."

He particularly emphasizes "[...] that the behavior, at least intolerant and anarchist of these agitators crossed the limits of the acceptable. Peaceful citizens, entrepreneurs and street vendors can be continually held in hostage by terror sown at noon, by the enemies of democracy.

While recalling that tolerance is one of the pillars of democracy, Minister invites victims to lodge complaint before the courts, so that those troublemakers are prosecuted, tried and punished according to law."
