Call for respect of women's quota...
The Electoral Adviser, Yolette Mengual, warns that the municipal cartelsand CASEC that do not have at least one women will not be able to register in the Communal Electoral Offices (BEC). Just like Article 100.1 of the decree, which obliges political parties or political groupings to met the quota of 30% women, while women registered are only 8%... "In accordance with this Decree, with the exception of the post of President of the Republic the list of candidates submitted to the Provisional Electoral Council by the political parties or political groups for each elective place must contain at least 30% women."
