Fanmi Lavalas asks for explanations to the CEP

Pastor Jean Chavannes won the primary

Friday, Pastor Jean Chavannes Jeune was designated by political parties that say they are of Christian inspiration whose CONACED and CANAAN (Protestant community) to represent them at the next presidential election. Pastor Jeune won the primary by 347 votes out of 379 front his ompetitor, Jose Nicolas Jacques, of the Adventist Church. Note that Me Osner Févry had withdrawn at the last moment in favor of Pastor Jeune. However, the Christian Movement for a New Haiti, (MOCHRENA) in disagreement chose their own candidate: Reynold Jean Claude Bazin.

Journalist Clarens Renois presidential candidate

Saturday, during the national congress of the political party UNIR (National Union for the Integrity and Reconciliation), the journalist Clarens Renois, was chosen as presidential candidate of the Party. Party members believe that Mr. Renois, represents the ideology of the party that is the morality, honesty, reconciliation and integrity.
