Illegitimate elected ?
"The low participation, recorded in the poll of 9 August 2015, could not ensure the legitimacy of elected officials," affirmed Mortimer Antonal, the Executive Secretary of the Platform of "aitian Organizations for the Defense of Human Rights" (POHDH) at a press conference explaining that inter alia "The low turnout is linked to several factors, such as the loss of confidence in politicians, the fear of being victims of violence in clashes between supporters of candidates and the non-display of the electoral roll at voting centers 30 days before the elections..."

Towards an Independent Evaluation Commission of elections of August 9
Monday, Frantz Bernadin, the spokesman of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) announced at a press conference at the Tabulation Center of Votes, that the CEP in coming days, via advisers will respond positively to the requests of several sectors of national life in particular by establishing an independent Commission to assess the elections on 9 August 2015.

Validation of elections case by case
Marie Camelle Paul Austin, Election Adviser, said the Electoral Council, assesses the elections before the publication of the results "The validity of the ballot will be determined case by case in the various voting centers [...] elections will be resumed in the regions most affected by irregularities, fraud and violence."
