Wednesday at the Primature after a press conference on the various post-hurricane actions of the Government, Aviole Fleurant Minister of Planning and External Cooperation announced that he had signed on 10 September, on behalf Government of Haiti, two Memoranda of understanding in the framework of a trade cooperation with the "China Automation Control System Corporation" (CACS) [a subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Group (SINOMACH), a company owned by the Chinese state with the largest technology company, Engineering and Trade] and the China Development Bank .

The first agreement would cover a project to build a national grid including wind and solar park totaling 1.2 billion US dollars and the second would be the strengthening of agriculture in Haiti, totaling $ 800 million US (15% haitian State). Without knowing why the government waited more than a month before lifting a corner of the veil on these two cooperation agreements...
