The delay of the first day prevented groups from completing the course. The second fat day touched perfectly, the disguised bands were able to come out earlier and offer a much better performance. All tanks completed the course. The Head of State underlines "The prevention system has worked well [...] the Red Cross and health care teams have done a good job. In terms of security, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) has done an outstanding job. A mobilization strongly felt at all levels, on the route and in the other streets of the city, facilitating the movement of carnavaliers in the city. This made it possible to record no death on the course during the three fat days" "[note HL --- 81 victims including 24 wounded with white arms and 62 arrests...] Adding "State spending has been mobilized during these festivities in sustainable development projects, which can mitigate the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew."
