2 Conventions ratified
Wednesday Deputies and senators met in National Assembly ratified two international conventions of the United Nations: The first on the Reduction of Statelessness and the second on the Status of Stateless Persons.

First Council of Ministers
Wednesday at the National Palace, President Jovenel Moïse, , accompanied by Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant, chaired the first Council of Ministers of the new Government.

Installation of Minister of Culture
Wednesday in the presence mong others of Jessie Menos, the new Minister of Tourism, Senator Joseph Lambert (South East) and former Minister of Culture Dithny Joan Raton (Gov. Martelly-Paul) was installed Limond Toussaint as new Minister of Culture and Communication. He replaces the outgoing Minister Marc Aurèle Garcia of the Government (Privert / Jean-Charles). In his remarks on the occasion, the new Minister Toussaint declared "The Ministry of Culture's mission is to contribute to the affirmation of Haitian cultural identity and vitality, to foster the access and participation of citizens to cultural life and to foster the development of communication. The action and the policy of this new administration target culture as identity cement and personal and collective development in order to restore the pride and dignity of the Haitian man."

Minister of the Interior takes office
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant installed Max Rudolph Saint-Albin (formerly DG of OFATMA and Advisor to President Moïse) as Minister of the Interior and Territorial Communities. He replaces outgoing Minister François Anick Joseph (Gov. Privert / Jean-Charles).

Installation of Minister of Defense
Wednesday, Max Saint-Albin, the new Minister of the Interior and Local Government installed Hervé Denis (former President of the CCIH and Ambassador) as Minister of Defense. He replaces former Prime Minister Enex Jean-Charles, which combined the functions. In his remarks, Minister Denis promised to work against corruption and institutional strengthening.

PM installs Minister of Finance
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant installed Jude Alix Patrick Salomon (Director General of the Inspector General of Finance) as Minister of Economy and Finance, replacing outgoing Minister Yves Romain Bastien.

Marathon of installations
Wednesday Pierre Marie Du Mény, was installed as Minister of Trade and Industry. He replaces the outgoing Minister Mrs. Jessy C. Petit-Frère. After his installation he went to the Ministry of Agriculture to install Carmel André Béliard (former Agricultural Engineer in the Monetization Office of Development Assistance Programs) as the new Minister of Agriculture of Natural Resources and Rural Development. He replaced Pierre Guito Laurore.

Fritz Caillot at the heads of MTPTC
On Wednesday, Minister Aviol Fleurant installed Fritz Caillot (former MTPTC DG) as Minister of Public Works Transport and Communication (MTPTC). He replaces the outgoing Minister Jacques Evelt Éveillard.
