Haiti - Justice : Arrest of the alleged assassins of Father Joseph Simoly 16/01/2018 08:11:25
Monday at press conference, Inspector Gary Desrosiers Deputy Spokesperson of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) announced that following the police investigation into the assassination of Father Joseph Simoly (54 years old) on December 21 2017, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-23058-haiti-flash-a-priest-shot-dead-in-petion-ville.html four individuals were apprehended during a police operation in which two motorcycles and a 38-gauge handgun were also seized.
These individuals were identified as : Jonathan Servil, Jean Louis Julmer, Jocelin Philogène and Jean Louis Pierre presented to the press at the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ). They are accused of murder, carrying illegal firearms and criminal conspiracy.
Inspector Desrosiers said that these four individuals were known to the police and could be involved in two other murders committed in April and July 2017.
