Haiti - Politic : Calendar of the opposition demonstrations

On Saturday, the Socialist Alternative and "Rasin kan pèp" parties, as well as political organizations of the "democratic and popular" movement, which brings together some 20 opposition political parties, announced a calendar of mobilizations to demand the resignation of President Jovenel Moïse https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24986-haiti-politic-the-opposition-calls-for-the-mobilization-until-the-resignation-of-jovenel-moise.html
The demonstrations will take place on August 6, 7, 10, 14, 17, 22 and 29 and will also require the release of the rioters arrested during demonstrations against the increase in fuel prices, accused among others of looting and arson https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-25055-haiti-flash-heavy-balance-of-riots.html
During the protests that will take place on the national territory, the opposition stressed that it would also denounce the acts of corruption in the public administration and the advantages and privileges of the parliamentarians and the civil servants of the State, in spite of the crisis which rages in Haiti.
