At midday the demonstration was blocked at Delmas 60 by a roadblock erected by the police to prevent the motorcade from going to the Pétion-ville commercial center, provoking the anger of the demonstrators who throwing stones at the police. Supported by 2 trucks equipped with water cannon and replicating with tear gas grenades, the police dispersed the demonstration.

Along the route of the demonstration highly motivated individuals tried in vain to burn several service stations that were protected by an imposing police device. Vehicles have been vandalized and several arrests have been reported while waiting for an official report of this day.

Also throughout the afternoon, several clashes between the PNH and small groups of demonstrators were reported in Pétion-ville, clashes quickly mastered by the police.

In a note Marjory Michel, Schiler Louidor (Famni Lavalas) and Me André Michel protest "The Democratic and Popular Sector condemns the provocative behavior of the PNH who dispersed the demonstration of the opposition at the level of Delmas 60 while the course of the demonstration had been previously defined with the authorities of the PNH [...] The Democratic and Popular Sector has learned that the order to disperse the demonstration came directly from the head of the CSPN, Jean Henry Céant.

[...] It simply means that the PM is exclusively in the service of the oligarchy. We condemn the anti-democratic behavior of the Prime Minister, Jean Henry Céant who, from today, becomes an irritant in the cyclical dimension of the crisis."

The Fanmi Lavalas Party by the voice of Joel Edouard Vorbe of the Directorate of the Party, disapproved the presence in this demonstration of Dr. Shiller Louidor (high executive of the party Lavalas) "He does not represent us, otherwise it would have had a mandate and the public would be informed."
