Fall in employment in 2018
In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2018 (July to September), a drop in the Employment Index was observed for both sexes. This drop affected women much more - 9% than men -0.5% year-on-year. This inter-annual decline is attributable to all sectors.

TPS Trial : Sarget vs Trump
On January 10, the two parties presented their final arguments in the federal Saget vs. Trump lawsuit, overturning the Trump administration's decision to terminate the Temporary Protection (TPS) Status effective July 22. 2019. The deadline for submitting post-trial documents for both parties is March 1st. The judge's decision is expected shortly thereafter.

Moïse J-C criticizes the electoral process

Training : Pre-hospital care for burn victims
On Thursday, the Training Section of the National Ambulance Center (CAN), in collaboration with the leaders of Médecin Sans Frontière (MSF-France), organized a training session for CAN nurses and initial charge for the stabilization of burn patients before reference to Drouillard Hospital. It should be noted that MSF-France had already conducted training on pre-hospital care for burn victims for the benefit of CAN nurses for which it was a recall.
