Haiti - Politic : President Moïse asks Parliament to ratify the new Government
Thursday at the Police Academy, on the sidelines of the graduation ceremony of the new commissioners of the 6th Promotion https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28392-haiti-security-graduation-of-67-new-police-commissioners.html President Jovenel Moïse took the opportunity to sensitize all political actors including elected to Parliament, on the importance of ratifying the Prime Minister's General Policy named Fritz William Michel and his ministerial cabinet so that the new Government can face the challenges by unlocking the situation, recalling that the population "expects a lot of its elected."

The Head of State recalled that in the absence of a new ministerial cabinet for more than 4 months, the country still has no ratified Government or voted budget underlining "Everyone is affected, both at of the public sector that private" because without Government the country can not function normally and the international of can not unblock the funds which Haiti needs so much.

While insisting that it was time to turn the page, he appealed to all concerned to form a "chain of solidarity", convinced despite the seriousness of the crisis, that the dialogue remains the only possible way to find a solution and get the country out of the impasse in which it finds itself recalled "Since I became head of power, I have always preached union. I invited all sectors to unite [...] because how can we save the country if we do not communicate with one another ?"
