Haiti - FLASH : A senior officer of the PNH revoked
Saturday on a radio of the capital, the Commissioner Michel-Ange Louis Jeune, spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) confirmed that the Inspector General Frantz Georges, responsible for intelligence within the Haitian National Police (PNH) had been revoked after being subject to provisional measures following several internal investigations.

This decision was taken jointly by the General Inspectorate of the PNH and the High Command of the police institution.

Frantz Georges is accused of corruption, administrative fraud, drug trafficking and being involved in a case of misappropriation of fuel debit cards for police officers from different units and finally he is suspected of involvement in the assassination of police inspector Jacques Dominique in Léogâne https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27815-haiti-news-zapping.html last May.

According to the Commissioner Michel-Ange Louis Jeune, the file of Frantz Georges has already been transmitted to the Court of First Instance of Petit-Goâve.

The policy of zero tolerance within the police institution advocated by Normil Rameau the new Director General of the PNH https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28601-haiti-flash-the-head-of-state-replaces-the-dg-of-the-pnh.html , could lead to further announcements of sanctions, according to the findings of several ongoing internal investigations, conducted on other agents and executives of the PNH.
