Haiti - Reconstruction : Monitoring visit to construction sites funded by Japan
Wednesday, Fils Aimé Ignace St Fleur, Director General of the Monetization Office for Development Aid Programs (BMPAD) accompanied by Taisei Inoue representative of the Japanese Ambassador to Haiti (Mizuno Mitsuaki) paid a follow-up visit to the site of the Faculty of Human Sciences (FASH) funded by Japan to the tune of 70 million Gourdes https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27818-haiti-japan-rehabilitation-of-the-faculty-of-human-sciences-9-years-later.html

Work which is at a very advanced stage and which should be completed by the beginning of April 2020.

In addition, Fils Aimé Ignace St Fleur and Taisei Inoue visited the Lycées Marie Jeanne and Cent Cinquantenaire (Lycée des Jeunes Filles) sites https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28575-haiti-education-soon-reconstruction-of-the-high-schools-cent-cinquantenaire-and-marie-jeanne.html financed to the tune of 200 million Gourdes, by matching funds, coming from the monetization by BMPAD of rice donations from the Japanese Government within the framework of the Japanese cooperation KR program, the reconstruction and rehabilitation work of which is scheduled to start at the very beginning of March 2020.
