Haiti - Politic : The point on the ratification process
The process of ratification of the choice of Prime Minister-designate will be launched very soon. The Senator of the Artibonite, Anick Francis Joseph revealed that a joint special commission, composed of members of both chambers, had been formed to analyze the documents of Daniel Gérard Rouzier, Prime Minister-designate.

The deputies currently on holiday, will have to be convened in special session by the President Martelly for the ratification of the Prime Minister. The Senate will probably be the first to comment on the choice of Prime Minister-designate.

The Senator Kelly Bastien, a member of the majority party (INITE) has clarified that the commission will act as soon as possible. Recalling that the legitimacy of Prime Minister depends of Parliament he asks to the parliamentarians to take their decision in the process of change started. Asked about the lack of political experience of Prime Minister-designate, Kelly Bastien recalls that there are always a first time, a the first time to begin to make policy, otherwise, "there are many people who would neither Deputy nor Senator or President"

However, The Senator Joseph Lambert, the leader of INITE continues to emphasize on the importance of power sharing.
