Haiti - FLASH : 17 new cases, the spread is accelerating

After 21 new cases yesterday, the Ministry of Public Health informs that 17 new cases have been confirmed (+ 13.18%) or a total of 146 cases (37.70% women and 62.30% men) since the start of the epidemic (March 19, 2020) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30319-haiti-health-origin-of-the-first-2-cases-of-covid-19-in-haiti.html . A 17th healing has been reported.
The number of active cases in Haiti (excluding death and recovery) now stands at 117 cases (+ 15.84%) or +16 since the last report of the Ministry https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30723-haiti-covid-19-daily-report-may-8-2020.html
235 people are in hospital quarantine (-8.56%) or -22 and 617 (-6.52%) or -43 in home quarantine.
Number of suspected cases followed : 1,145 (+ 0.2%) or +3 cases since the last Ministry report.
