Haiti - FLASH : Sunrise Airways resumes flights between Haiti and the Dominican Republic
Thursday, the Haitian airline Sunrise Airways announced in a press release the resumption of its international flights between Port-a-Prince (Haiti) and Santo-Domingo (Dominican Republic) from July 3, 2020.

The recovery will begin with four weekly flights from Monday to Friday until July 31, 2020 when frequencies are expected to increase.

Sunrise Airways makes the safety and health of its passengers a priority, in cooperation with the National and International Authorities.

Health security on board :
Our planes are disinfected, using an approved hospital grade aerosol, by electrostatic spraying. It is effective for up to 7 days against 99.9% of viruses and bacteria.

After each flight is insured : cleaning of the shelves, seat belt buckles, armrests, window blinds, doors and handles of hanging boxes. Every day, a thorough cleaning is carried out on all of this equipment.

In order to reduce contact between people and surfaces, on-board service is interrupted on all flights until further notice.

Before entering the airport :
Passengers must comply with government and company regulations. A temperature measurement is carried out on each passenger at the airport entrance, if it is greater than 38 degrees Celsius, access will be refused.

IMPORTANT :
You must wear a mask to access the airport and during your entire flight. Passengers will have to print or download and complete the Sunrise Airways "Health Monitoring Questionnaire", this document is required to access the check-in. It is available on the sunriseairways.net website.

Without this form, access to the airport will be refused. During the flight, each passenger must fill out a "Passenger Location Card (PLC)" provided by Sunrise Airways, without which it will not be possible to go through immigration.

Sunrise Airways has extended until December 31, 2020 the elimination of modification fees on existing tickets and those already booked before March 2020.

Covid-19 measures :
In accordance with the "Health Surveillance Questionnaire", Sunrise Airways advises passengers not to travel if they do not feel well or if they have been exposed to the virus in the past 14 days. Staying at home is the best way to protect yourself and others from illness.

Olivier Jean, Director General of the National Office of Civil Aviation (ONAC), told the media that Toussaint Louverture International Airport will not be able to accommodate more than two planes at the same time, departing and arriving, as a way to impose physical distance.
