Following the announcement of the state of emergency and the closure of international airports, Sunrise Airways has made every effort to ensure the repatriation of more than 1,000 Cuban and Haitian passengers who have to return to their respective countries due to the situation

health emergency.

On Friday, March 20, Sunrise Airways received authorization from the governments of Haiti and Cuba to repatriate citizens of the two countries. The company will operate from March 21, a dozen flights between the cities of Port-au-Prince, Santiago, Holguín, Camaguey, Habana.

In the days that follow, several connections will be provided between Port-au-Prince and the different cities of Cuba to repatriate the Cuban nationals currently in Haiti.

These flights are strictly reserved for holders of a Cuban passport with a ticket reserved for 20 and March 21 to Cuba and to Haitian passport holders on March 20 and 21 to Haiti.

Passengers are invited to present themselves 3:30 before the departure of flights. All passengers will subjected to a health test. Passengers with symptoms will be referred to the authorities official national health.
