Yesterday the President Martelly left the country to go to Chile and Argentina for 5 days. This Thursday, the President Martelly will be received at the "Palacio de la Moneda" where he will meet the Chilean President, Miguel Juan Sebastián Piñera Echenique. It will be discussed between the two men, to broaden cooperation between the two countries in areas such as safety, health and education. Then he will travel Friday to Argentina in response to the invitation of the President of Argentina, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

Before leaving the President Martelly said that he made "this trip for the Haitian people" and that he wishes during his meetings to obtain a support from these countries for Haiti. Before leaving, he has not designated a Prime Minister-designate as he did before he left for Europe last month. A week after the rejection of Me Bernard Gousse, the President of the Republic has not yet contacted the presidents of both chambers Rodolphe Joazile et Sorel Jacinthe, handing the "problem" to a presidential commission responsible for conducting the process of designation of a new Prime Minister, wishing to the latter a "good job"...

Martelly also deplored the climate of insecurity in the country and asked the police to redouble efforts, and denounced a without naming it, a sector that he accuses to work to his failure.

For his part the President of the lower house said "we are in a situation where all players must put aside their pride to work for the well-being of the people," adding that after two failed prime ministers designated "the Head of State, should review his strategy to ensure that his next choice will be ratified..."
