Haiti - Politic : The absence of government affects the country at the international level
Carlos Morales Troncoso, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic has declared this week that the Joint Bilateral Commission (CMB) Haitiano-Dominican, will not make any meeting, as long Haiti will not have a new government installed to discuss of the common interests of both countries [economics, trade, investment, immigration, tourism, education, health and reconstruction...]

Recalling that at the last meeting in Santo Domingo, August 2, between the Presidents Leonel Fernández and Michel Martelly, the two Heads of State had agreed for the signing of bilateral agreements in various areas of cooperation, when the governmental crisis will be resolved in Haiti.

The absence of government in Haiti, does not only affect the CMB, several other countries including Brazil and Argentina have indicated that no concrete commitment, can be taken with Haiti, before the installation of a new government.
