Haiti - FLASH : 25,000 ammunition seized, a trafficker arrested

On the night of July 12 to 13, 2022, the police arrested on a bus in Port-de-Paix traveling to Port-au-Prince, an individual identified as Churchill Petit-Frère.
During the search of the vehicle, in the presence of Me Bertin Vital the new Government Commissioner (CG) a.i. accompanied by Me Paul Blanc, Judge of the Court of Peace responsible for establishing the report, the police discovered 25,000 cartridges of weapons of wardistributed in 25 boxes.
The bus driver fled and the vehicle and ammunition were seized.
